Today, I go hands-on with both the black and white dial reference Rolex 226570 Explorer II models, which refine but don’t revolutionize the classic sports watch formula. Rolex entirely updated the dial, case, movement, and bracelet in a watch that nevertheless fits more or less the same profile as the outgoing 216570 Explorer II models. At 42mm-wide in mostly brushed steel, the Rolex Explorer II case is water-resistant to 100 meters and has a sapphire crystal over the dial. AAA replica Rolex watches are historically timid about using anti-reflective coating, and the latest generation Submariner is actually the first one that has a more modern anti-reflective coating application. I’m not sure if that has translated into the Explorer II models, but I will say that the lower level of glossy elements on the dials certainly does help with reading the dial more easily.

To remind people who don’t know, the Explorer II is all about being a watch that allows you to know the time of day if you can’t see the sun (it was developed for cave explorers). The fixed bezel of the Explorer II has 24-hour markers on it, and when the GMT hand is synchronized with the local time, it acts as an AM/PM indicator. We’re just a couple of weeks out from Watches and Wonders Geneva, the watch industry’s biggest and most influential annual trade show.

Dozens of major brands exhibit at the show every year, but when the doors open at the Palexpo in Geneva on April 1, all eyes will first turn to one brand: Rolex.

The watch industry’s brightest star will unveil a number of new timepieces at this year’s show, and just like every year, we really have no idea what Rolex replica watches for sale is going to do. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make a few educated guesses.

Below, I’ve come up with five AAA Swiss Rolex fake watches I think we could see revealed at Watches and Wonders this year … with perhaps a bit of wishful thinking involved on my part.

Out of all of my predictions, this one is certainly the biggest pipe dream. But it would absolutely break the internet if it happened.

Not only that, but an integrated sports watch is the most glaring style missing from Rolex’s catalog, having not been seen since the days of the Oysterquartz. If the Milgauss comes back, I’d like to see it get its own identity with an integrated bracelet rather than seeing its lightning bolt seconds hand shoehorned into an Air-King case again.

Rolex Polar Explorer Replica Watches

Every year I expect Rolex to release Swiss made Rolex Explorer fake watches with a white “Polar” dial, and every year I’m disappointed. There’s not much to explain here. The Explorer II comes in a black or white dial, so the Explorer I should as well.

A few months after I sold my Black Bay 36, the Explorer made another guest appearance. On our way back to Amsterdam from a Christmas trip to Spain, I sat next to a very fashionable woman on the plane. I just wore it non-stop on a recent vacation to Turkey, and even now that I’m back, I’m still wearing it very frequently.

The Explorer is indeed a bit of a boring watch, but it’s so good at being boring in the best ways possible. After all, sometimes you don’t want to stand out with your watch. You just want to wear a comfortable, reliable, and damn-good-looking watch. Well, that’s exactly when the Explorer is at its best.
